The Centenary of The Battle of the Somme
To commemorate the Battle of the Somme’s 100 anniversary, we pitched a fittingly massive installation at Tate Modern to be opened by Her Majesty She would plant a single poppy in an enormous fabricated book of the fallen taken from a wall of poppies. The area would then be opened to the general public to do the same until it became a poppy field artwork.
